The Integrated CHEETAH electric drive Module (EDM) MODEL-B is a state-of-the-art integration of a Z-PORT®, a traction motor, a single-stage gear-train, a park lock mechanism, an open differential, an integrated cooling system that provides ease of integration and scalability for a wide range of electric vehicles. This modular solution can satisfy various OEM requirements for a wide selection range of power, torque, and speed.
 
Z-PORT® enabled EDM technology is going to boost transient power and torque up to 70% without the need for extra current from the battery system and the power inverter module. Other benefits of Z-PORT® enabled EDM technology are a power density boost of up to 25% and an efficiency increase of up to 8%. 
 
Being fully integrated, highly efficient, and lightweight, the SCnewton’s CHEETAH EDM MODEL-B Family is available in various power levels and models, and is designed for economy electric vehicles.
